In an initiative to provide Adelaide Teens with comprehensive training in the art of screen acting, Heesom Casting has specifically designed a range of school holiday workshops formulated to teach the fundamentals of acting for camera from basic acting skills through to the most sophisticated techniques employed by the highest calibre of professional actors.

In these fun and usually sell-out classes our young stars will receive instruction on:

• Understanding essential screen acting techniques

• Insights into the film and television industry

• Key audition skills to land film and tv roles

• Easy ways to develop their own on-screen character

• How to approach a film script and make it real

• The importance of good ‘listening skills’ when acting

• The Physical You

• Your Voice

• Build confidence to deliver outstanding screen work for the camera​

These classes are taught by Don Kountouris who is a NIDA Acting Graduate, Tertiary Institution Screen Acting Tutor, Former Acting Agent and Director at Mitchell Actors, and former actor with credits in both AUS and US film and television such as: Terra Nova (FOX), The Informant (CH10), Home and Away (CH7), Crownies (ABC), Packed to the Rafters (CH7) and All Saints (CH7)

Important Information: 

These course are for ages 13 - 17 years. Develop the fundamental and more advanced skills to tackle auditions and scene on screen.  Students will learn in a fun, warm, nurturing and supportive environment. Both beginners and experienced actors are welcome.
